Dave Mann is President and Founder of Isle of Mann Property Group. As President, Dave works closely with his leadership team to execute on overall corporate strategy, including acquisitions, development and finance. Although his operational capacity has shifted toward his charitable endeavours in recent years, Dave remains an instrumental part of IOM’s ongoing success and growth.

In 2016, Dave was recognized as a Legend of Housing by the Greater Vancouver Home Builder’s Association. He and fellow inductees, Ron Toigo (CEO, Shato Holdings) and Rich Ilich (President, Townline Homes), were honoured by the GVHBA as “leaders who have revolutionized approaches to residential housing”.

Henry is a founding member of Isle of Mann Property Group alongside his father, Kau Chan Yong, and long-time business associate, Dave Mann. In the early days, Henry represented IOM as Director of Marketing and was a licensed real estate agent with the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board. As an agent, he achieved Master Medallion status and was responsible for overseeing the sales and marketing teams for all of IOM’s active developments. Henry remained a Director until 2001 when he assumed his father’s leadership role as IOM’s Vice President.

As Vice President, Henry is crucial to IOM’s domestic and international business development strategy, and assists in sourcing off-market acquisition opportunities across Western Canada.

Henry holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with double major in Geography and Psychology from the University of British Columbia.

James has been with Isle of Mann Property Group since 2009 as General Manager and Corporate Counsel. Prior to this, he was practicing as an associate at Aydin Bird Business Lawyers, a boutique business law firm based in Vancouver which specializes in corporate, trust, commercial and real estate law. James’ practice mainly focused on aiding business clients in the areas of corporate, commercial, leasing, real estate, mergers and acquisitions.

In his current role as Director of Operations and General Counsel, James oversees and manages a wide array of aspects including transaction structuring and management, corporate partnership structuring and restructuring, compliance management, sales administration and legal administration. Additionally, James works with all members of the IOM leadership team to maintain a comprehensive oversight of matters affecting all aspects of corporate strategy.

James holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of British Columbia, and Juris Doctor from UBC’s Faculty of Law.

Balpreet joined Isle of Mann Property Group in 2007 as the company's Comptroller. Prior to this, he worked in the tax and compilation practice of Dusangh & Co., Chartered Accountants as Senior Accountant. Today, he serves as Director of Tax & Accounting, and manages IOM’s comprehensive financial operation. As a crucial part of this role, Balpreet oversees the accounting, tax and internal audit functions that help facilitate the company’s growth strategy and accommodate stakeholder expectations.

Balpreet is a Chartered Professional Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with double major in Accounting and Economics from SFU’s Beedie School of Business.

Rick joined Isle of Mann Property Group in 2007 where he began his career on the construction site. After developing his knowledge of best practices within the construction process Rick graduated to Project Manager, where he could oversee the full spectrum of a development from planning, design, financing and marketing to construction, sales and home delivery.

As Director of Development & Construction, Rick oversees all development, construction and product delivery for IOM. He leads these divisions by providing direction for all planning and development files, implementation and oversight of construction processes, and ensures projects are delivered on time and on budget while maintaining exceptional standards of quality. Rick’s experience with the practicalities of development and construction, complemented by his knowledge of civil and structural engineering, makes him a valuable member of the Acquisition team by providing key insights during due diligence and proforma analysis.

Rick holds a Certificate in Civil & Structural Engineering from BCIT.

Ravi Mann has been an integral part of the Isle of Mann Property Group's success, initially joining in 2017 as the Director of Finance & Investment. In this role, Ravi demonstrated his expertise by overseeing investment management and real estate finance, leading teams that sourced, underwrote, and structured investment transactions for a variety of fund strategies. His financial acumen played a key role in managing a $300+ million portfolio, as well as directing site acquisitions for development and offering strategic oversight of the company’s mortgage lending business.

Prior to his tenure with Isle of Mann, Ravi served as Senior Financial Analyst for CBRE’s National Investment Team (NIT), the top-performing commercial real estate brokerage in Western Canada. His experience in cash flow analysis, financial modelling, and due diligence on large-scale developments contributed to some of the most significant transactions in the industry.

Now, as a principal of Isle of Mann Property Group, Ravi brings a wealth of experience and strategic insight to the company, ensuring continued growth and success across all aspects of the business.

Ravi holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance from UBC’s Sauder School of Business.
